Ja myślę, że silnik AT to tylko platforma testowa.
Docelowo turbo wyląduje pewnie w mniejszym silniku (600 - 700?), więc moc będzie co najmniej porównywalna, emisja spalin mniejsza, silnik ciągle w miarę lekki. Według mnie to jest kalka tego co od kilku dobrych lat dzieje się z silnikami benzynowymi w samochodach.
Poza tym to turbo Hondy ma pracować w prawie całym zakresie obrotów, bo to nie jest sprężarka osiowa, tylko jakaś tam "positive-displacement supercharger" (bardziej kumaci z mechaniki na forum to odpowiednio nazwą po polsku
). Tak to przynajmniej poniżej opisują:
"Honda, however, is using a different type of supercharger entirely. It's a twin-screw design, which is a type of positive-displacement supercharger. Unlike a centrifugal blower, a positive-displacement supercharger moves a fixed amount of air with each rotation, and since it's geared from the crankshaft, that means you basically get the same amount of boost pressure delivered to the cylinders all the way from idle to the redline.
